This Fall, Fans Of ‘Friends’ Can Visit The Famous Apartment From The Show

This year marks the 25th anniversary of what is arguably one of the best sitcoms ever to grace prime time television. If you grew up in the 90s, there’s a good chance you would risk life and limb to rush home and catch the latest episode of Friends. America quickly fell in love with the cast and they’re some of the most recognizable actors in the world today. Another recognizable element of the show was the apartments that the cast called home.

Soon, fans of the show will have the opportunity to visit those iconic apartments in person.

Friends was set in the New York neighborhood of SoHo, and the biggest part of each episode took place in either Monica and Rachel’s or Joey and Chandler’s apartment. Now, Warner Bros. and Superfly are opening up an exhibit in that same SoHo neighborhood where fans of the show can visit the sets. The event will also feature iconic props and costumes from the show. Tickets will cost $29.50 per person and the event will run from September 8 to October 9.

The exhibit, which is called “the one with the pop-up” in a nod to the original episode titles, will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

It would seem that at least some of the cast misses the show as much as the fans do. In March, Courtney Cox posted a video on her social media that showed the outside of the apartment where she and Jennifer Anniston’s “Rachel” lived on the show. She teased fans by saying “Goodnight guys, I’m going home.”

Friends fans went absolutely crazy over the post. The final episode aired in 2004 and ever since, fans have been begging for a reboot. While there doesn’t seem to be anything on the radar, it’s nice to know that the networks still understand just how much the show meant to the fans.

If you live in New York, of you’re a big enough fan of Friends to book a trip, the pop-up apartment exhibit runs every day from September 8 to October 9.
