The travel industry is an exciting and rewarding business. Better still, unlike many other industries, each month brings countless travel conferences throughout the world, which is fitting when you consider the business. Travel professionals get to travel the world and attend meetings about traveling!  If you’re a travel agent or a manager at any level, this list of upcoming travel conferences should help you plan your business travels out for the remainder of spring. Although the first quarter is already behind us, don’t worry—there are still plenty of conferences planned for the rest of the year!  We’ll present another list as we get closer to the summer and fall months.

April 2018

EyeforTravel San Francisco Summit—This is the largest digital conference on the West Coast, and it’s happening in San Francisco on April 9th and 10th. The event will host over 300 senior travel executives and cover travel technology, marketing, data and mobile business.

GBTA Conference:  This is Canada’s biggest travel event, and it’s happening April 16-18 in Toronto.

Digital Travel APAC:  If you’re in the Asian market, this event, hosted in Singapore on April 17-19 is the leading event for travel professionals in APAC.

ACTE New York City Global Summit:  This New York-based event will be held this year on April 29th-May 1st. The event will host travel managers at multiple levels and host a multitude of discussions on the current state of the travel industry.

May 2018

Simpleview Summit:  This conference is geared toward digital marketing solutions for anyone in the travel and tourism business, and it will be hosted in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 6th-9th.

ARDA World:  This event is THE global timeshare convention, and it happens in Las Vegas, May 6th-10th.

Phocuswright Europe:  This conference is largest in Europe, and this year it’s happening in Amsterdam on May 15th-17th.

IPW:  IPW is an industry leader in international travel, and it brings the most travel business to the U.S. from outside the country. More than 6,000 travel professionals from all over the world will converge on Denver, Colorado for this event, being held May 19th-23rd.

June 2018

EyeforTravel Europe 2018:  Focusing primarily on digital innovation, this convention will be held in London on June 4th-6th

Future Travel Experience Europe:  Focusing on future travel trends (2025), this Dublin, Ireland convention will cover all of the emerging technology and services we’re likely to see seven years down the road. It’s being held June 7th and 8th.
